Data breaches

According to CNET's post "an estimated 35.7 million records were potentially breached"

If you compare that to the US population of 305 million that gives you a little more than a one in ten chance that your data was lost by a company storing it.

Now sure, I know there are going to be some overlaps in the 35.7 million records, but that is still just a scary big number of records breached.
